Getting Started with Outlook 2007 - Open Outlook 2007
- "Click" Tools, from the pull down menu and select E-mail Accounts Settings
- In the Account Settings window, select the E-Mail tab, and "click" New.
- "Bullet" Microsoft Exchange Server, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP, and "click" Next
- "Check" manually configure server setting; and "click" Next
- "Bullet" Internet E-mail; and "click" Next
Configure your Outlook 2007 for POP3 and SMTP Authentication - Type in your User Information:
- Type in your Server Information:
- The account type is POP3
- The incoming mail server is mail.shortcutsolutions.net
- The outgoing mail server is mail.shortcutsolutions.net
- Type in your Log-in Information:
- The user name is your entire e-mail address
- The password is your e-mail account password
- "Check" the remember password field
Configure your Outlook 2007 for Windows to retrieve your company e-mail - "Click" on More settings...
- Under the Outgoing Server tab "check" My Outgoing Server (SMTP) requires authentication; and "click" OK
- "Click" Next
- Review the account information; and "click" Finish
